ISA Liwan International School has a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Early Years. Experience with IB PYP and UK EYFS is advantageous. This ideal candidate will be a passionate teacher who enjoys collaborating with colleagues.

Pedagogy

1. Inquire-based and play-based teaching approaches in early yearsÌý
2. Apply age-appropriate strategies throughout teachingÌý
3. Actively incorporate strategies that meet the different developmental needs of all learnersÌý
4. Provide learning opportunities to encourage independence, imagination, and creativityÌý

6. To carry out other duty as may be reasonably required by the Head of School, Section Principal or respective IB CoordinatorÌý

Candidates are requested to provide three referees for pre-employment reference check from current and previous employers. ÌýThe referees must be the Principal, Head of schoolÌýor the direct supervisor from the school management team.

General Requirements for International Teaching Positions

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject area
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. BEd, PGCE)
  • Minimum two years’ experience of classroom teaching in mainstream education sector
  • Previous experience of teaching the IB curriculum is preferred, high potential candidates without IB experience mightÌýbe considered
  • Well-versed in various teaching resources includingÌýdigital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
  • Sensitivity to the cultural differences
  • A willingness toÌýactively participateÌýin the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
